Privacy
Draft effective September 9, 2026
GaydarLove is a private, invite-only nearby community. It handles sensitive information, so the default is to collect less, reveal less, and give you control.
What we collect
Your account email, birth date, profile choices, approximate location, chats, photos, blocks, reports, invitations, and notification subscription. Optional health, relationship, and profile details are collected only when you add them.
Location
Your device keeps the precise reading. The server receives coordinates rounded to roughly 100 metres. By default, other members see distance rounded up to the nearest kilometre and a rough direction. You can pause or hide from Nearby at any time.
Photos and chats
Photos are private to signed-in members with the required access. Metadata is stripped when images are uploaded. A report may preserve a limited snapshot of the relevant profile and conversation so blocking cannot erase safety evidence.
Sharing
GaydarLove does not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Data is shared only with infrastructure needed to run the service, when you intentionally share it with another member, or when legally required.
Retention and control
You can change profile details, revoke photo access, block members, pause discovery, or delete your account. Live account data is removed on deletion; encrypted backups age out on the service's backup schedule. Contact the app owner to request access, correction, export, or a privacy review.
Security
Sessions, uploads, and account actions use access controls and encrypted transport. No system is risk-free. Report a suspected exposure promptly and do not reuse your password elsewhere.
